What is an unstretched canvas?
A piece of flat canvas that is not stretched over a wooden frame. Ideal for custom framing, cutting into pieces for smaller installations or displaying as a whole using tacks or a hanging bars.
What is the process from turning your artwork into apparel?
First I create the artwork, then take photos for editing. I then design the clothing, send the image to my supplier to print and make. Once the item is recieved, I sew on some custom tags before it's packed and sent to you
How soon will my item arrive?
The whole process with the clothing manufacturer takes around 6-8 weeks.
Artwork is posted in 1-2 weeks, this may be longer for international orders.
What if my item doesn't fit?
Custom makes can't be returned, please remember to check the size guide in the listing before placing your order. Some clothing runs small and others run larger due to the differences in fabric so it's important to measure yourself against the size guide.
How is my artwork prepared for postage?
Unstretched canvasses will be clear wrapped and rolled in a tube.
Studio canvasses will be packaged in bubble wrap and appropriate sized box or cussioned envelope.
Apparel will be wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a box or envelope depending on size.
All parcels are posted with Australia post and include tracking.
Can you gift wrap?
Yes, from gift boxes and custom wrapping paper to little hand written cards.
What payments do you take?
All payments can be made through the website, PayPal or bank transfer.
Why don't you offer AfterPay?
Big Cartel doesn't offer AfterPay yet, but payments through PayPal's "pay in 4" option lets you purchase now and pay later in four interest free instalments.
